Praise God! Yes, it's good reminder that the religious spirits and arrogance of 2000 is still here and we must beware.

Wonderful to hear you are out and doing great exploits for our the Almighty God!

Over the years I have found this “Got Questions website to have an extremely religious bias——and no, they are not Spirit-filled in their perspective at all. In fact, as regards many Spirit-filled topics, this individual has an extremely religious slant that he speaks from. As much as possible, I try to steer individuals clear from this website, because it does far more spiritual harm than it ever does any good. But that’s what happens when you try to get answers from a religious spirit, instead of a truly Spirit-filled, Word filled believer (and I’ve been in the Lord for almost 48 years, and was baptized in the Holy Spirit 43 years ago, in addition to fulfilling many ministry positions in the real world, so I know precisely what I’m speaking about).

What concerns me is that articles on GotQuestions frequently lack objectivity, often written as though factual & definitive. They offer opinion/speculation as though it were known fact. This level of arrogance and grandiose proclamation is absolutely inappropriate and does not come from God. Passing off one's own opinions in this way is how charlatans behave, is dangerous and is misleading. Considering this, it is concerning that GotQuestions appear right up the top of some google search results. We as Christians have every right to our own thoughts & opinions, however none of us has the right to proclaim our thoughts or opinions as God's direct word for we are not God. He may act through us but he does not give us authority to speak directly for him. Presuming as such is dangerous & leads to corruption.

Thank you for your thoughtful remarks! If you look deeper, this website we are talking about is supporting a 'ministry' (business?) that supposedly brings people to Jesus. They are always asking for donations. If people are coming to Jesus, that is great. We are not totally sure how they measure their results.
They get many people to write for them, so it's a confused mashup of various 'Christian' ideas with heavy (many times boring) religious overtones. If we were to live our spiritual lives based on their version of Christianity, it would be pretty boring. There are some articles up there written by pastors we know, who have ceased supporting Michael due to the confused teaching... Talk about confused, if you go according to their posts the Holy Spirit has already left us according to this one. Now, that's a whopper! Praise God for His Word and His power in our daily lives. Why would you settle for anything less?
Thanks again for stopping by!

Here's the thing about GotQuestions. They admit to being Calvinists. So know that going in. If you're ok with Calvinism, you'll find much of what they offer to be very helpful. If not, you'll constantly be annoyed with their Cavinist bias. I call it a bias because it is. They try to treat some issues such as the doctrine of eternal sonship rather fairly, stating that either view can fall under the label of orthodoxy. But when it comes to Calvinist views, they are far less charitable. Instead, they label reputable Christian denominations as "we cannot endorse" because they aren't Calvinist. They would be a far better website if they weren't endorsing denominations at all and instead, just stick to sharing factual information and keeping the bias out of it. I say that because even a cursory reading of some of Michael Houdmann’s articles such as the article about GotQuestions being Calvinist reveals a very prideful and uncharitable spirit. So I guess in the spirit of their own words, I cannot endorse GotQuestions.org. I have great concern for new believers or people without solid biblical background getting hoodwinked into Calvinism by them...which is ultimately their goal. It seems fairly evident.

Jesus says it all in John 6. " No man CAN come to Me unless the Father sends him......I will lose none but will raise them up....
Are all people saved, No
Therefore not all people are sent.
Its OK for God to choose Abraham, Issac and Jacob and all of the Judges and all of the prophets and the 12 disciples and Saul of Tarsus which is the epitomy of Election.
"No man can" means what it says and says what it means.

Basically i have found most of their answers true they believe on the basic truths such as the Trinity and salvation through Jesus Christ and not by works, about the Jehovah witness and mormons being cults i totally agree with that because their doctrines difer from the true biblical christian doctrine, so my point is i know most of our christian brethren have questions that need answers they should take this advice and form a personal relationship with God and start reading and interpreting the bible not through flesh but through the Holy Spirit, do not trust a site 100% and do not depend on it wholly, the bible says by their fruit you shall know them, so after cross checking accurately with the bible you can then judge if it is trust worthy

Got Questions.org actually admit being 4 Point Calvinist..the dilute the Pure Word of God with Calvinism...nullifying the Word of God for the sake of man made doctrines and traditions...they're legalistic and come across Pharisaical and biased.
I often wonder if they've ever truly read Romans 14.
They also seem to answer questions with multiple different interpretative answers many contradicting of others on the same questions....when one Biblically Correct answer directly from the Pure Word of God would have sufficed...they are confusing and seem to complicate the simplicity of the scriptures.
Someone once asked on another site that belongs to Got Questions Ministries called "Compelling Truth" if there will be any tears in Heaven...and they made it sound like that Heaven was going to to be just as depressing as Hell...LOL!! So in the comment section I quoted one of the Beatitudes where Jesus said "Those who mourn/weep shall be comforted." Sadly not one mention of this pure and simple scripture from Jesus own mouth was not even among one of the answers to this question.
You're better off going to the ultimate Source of all Truth ..Wisdom and Knowledge The Word of God and The Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth...Who knows God's Word Better than The Word of God...God knows how to interpret His Word with His Word...this is the one thing I learned it takes The Word of God to Interpret the Word of God...He has all the answers we're looking for.
