Pro 9:7-9
“He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself, And he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself. Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

I love this in the Gods Word Translation

Pro 9:9
Give advice to a wise person, and he will become even wiser. Teach a righteous person, and he will learn more.

Although Paul was a great follower of Jesus, he died early because he refused to listen to the multiple warnings of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit warns, guides, and directs through our spirit, but he will also direct us through others when we can’t hear Him.

Act 21:3-4
When we had sighted Cyprus, we passed it on the left, sailed to Syria, and landed at Tyre; for there the ship was to unload her cargo. And finding disciples, we stayed there seven days. They told Paul through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem.

Act 21:8-11
On the next day we who were Paul’s companions departed and came to Caesarea, and entered the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him. Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied. And as we stayed many days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. When he had come to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’ ”

Act 12:5 Peter Freed from Prison Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

This has got to be my favorite saying this year. Praise God that happens because we pray and believe! If you are praying and nothing is happening, it’s likely because you are not believing. Believing is faith. Faith is believing. Faith is the only thing that pleases God.

Act 11:18 When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”

The Lord Jesus came to the Jews first, but then He desires all people to come to Him.

1Ti 2:3-5 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

We have heard this repeatedly over the last nearly 18 months.
