Why Jesus Rose From The Dead
I am stoked. Today I’ll be sharing on Why Jesus Rose From The Dead.
With resurrection Day this Sunday, it’s amazing to me how the news media is saying that some “Christians” believe that Jesus just “rose from the dead spiritually” but not physically. Excuse me? Do they think we’re ignorant? If you don’t believe that Jesus physically rose from the dead, you are NOT a Christian (see Romans 10:9).
As a huge fan of education and logic I think to myself, why would all these early believers spread the message all over the world, make major efforts and spend resources, and even die under persecution of the time if Jesus didn’t rise from the dead? I ask my church family frequently, “Who would die for a lie?”
Jesus died and rose from the dead and ascended to heaven with that resurrection body. He died so we could have life as no one else could cover the sins we had. Check out what Jesus says in John 5:24
“ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
No judgment before God for me. I am covered by His grace. His mercies endure forever, and I will do everything to hate evil, walk in FAITH, and His power. How about you?
Is there a doctor in the house?
Well, if you can’t write a prescription or do an operation, please don’t ask us to call you doctor.
A guy from my university was asking people to do that this week and it seemed so awkward.
Post-graduate work is a good thing but we shouldn’t inflict it on others. Medical doctors, now THAT IS a different story.
Clueless religious people
The Jews answered Jesus, “We’re going to stone you to death, not for any good things you’ve done, but for dishonoring God. You claim to be God, although you’re only a man.”

Clueless religious people exist in the world today. Just because someone says they’re a Christian or even a pastor of some type doesn’t mean they know God.
God was right in the midst of people and most recognized Him. The religious people who said they knew God didn’t and attacked Him with the demons of hell.
Be filled with God, be filled with His Spirit. Signs and wonders will follow you. Miracles show Gods hand on a believer. No miracles confirm it’s just a clueless religious person. Let’s be filled with His Spirit.
Who does God listen to?
John 9:31
We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners. Instead, he listens to people who are devout and who do what he wants.

The purpose of signs and wonders

People follow signs and wonders.
John 6:1-2
Jesus later crossed to the other side of the Sea of Galilee (or the Sea of Tiberias). A large crowd followed him because they saw the miracles that he performed for the sick.
