Expecting Great Things At Victory Word Church In Tokyo Japan and the United States

God is so awesome.  We’re expecting great things in 2012 at Victory Word Church.  We are going to see growth in the Japan church and full start up of the church in the United States.

As we wound down the year of 2011, I began praying and seeking the Lord for breakthroughs in growth at Victory.  The Holy Spirit directed me to read a couple books and as I read I saw the reason why.

There is no reason to try to reinvent the wheel when it comes to the Kingdom of God.  We should not be afraid to learn from other followers of Jesus as well as even… believe it or not… unbelievers.

We are going to be making some changes that will make a major differences in how we

  1. -love God
  2. -love people
  3. -connect deeper with the Kingdom of God.

Buckle up!  Let’s be expecting the impossible in 2012.  It’s all about FAITH in the NAME of JESUS!

Maybe not the best way to share the love of Jesus

Every year we see these people in the busy parts of Tokyo such as Ginza and Shibuya with sins talking about blood, sins, and Kirisuto (Christ).

We know they mean well, but you don’t bring people to Jesus by holding signs or driving a van playing recorded messages. Incidentally these people never look happy.

The best way to reach people is to talk to them.

Fantastic Christmas Celebration at Victory Word Church in Tokyo Japan

Victors you rock!  What a wonderful service.  Today the message was on Light of the World.  The Victory Band was amazing, and people really entered in.

We had people from Japan, US, Africa, China, the Philippines and some other countries.  Sorry if we missed your country!

Two people were born from above as they confessed Jesus.  It was great!

Following the service we had a Christmas celebration with lots of God food and fun.  People danced, played some pretty fun games, and we’re singing their lungs out.  Five hours later, people we’re still there.

It is so good to service Jesus.  To Him be all glory!  Merry Christmas everyone.

Snow in Tokyo

And they said Seattle Tacoma is cold. Thankfully it didn’t stick.

It was a good fall but you can barely see it in this picture.
