2Tim. 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

2Tim. 4:2 みことばを宣べ伝えなさい。 時が良くても悪くてもしっかりやりなさい。 寛容を尽くし、 絶えず教えながら、 責め、 戒め、 また勧めなさい。

Whether you’re a minister or a member we are not here to talk politics, social issues or anything else. Our highest priority is to preach the Word!  

The only way to do it is fill yourself with the Word every morning so when the opportunity or the issue arises you can respond like God would respond. Then watch people come to Jesus and learn to walk in His abundance. Hallelujah!

2Tim. 3:16 ¶ All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

2Tim. 3:17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2Tim. 3:16 聖書はすべて、 神の霊感によるもので、 教えと戒めと矯正と義の訓練とのために有益です。

2Tim. 3:17 それは、 神の人が、 すべての良い働きのためにふさわしい十分に整えられた者となるためです。

If you want to be equipped to handle whatever comes at you in life, you better be filled with the Word of God and it’s inspiration. 

2Tim. 1:6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

2Tim. 1:6 それですから、 私はあなたに注意したいのです。 私の按手をもってあなたのうちに与えられた神の賜物を、 再び燃え立たせてください。

In the Bible there are many instances of touch to receive from God. There is power and you could even call it a doctrine of laying hands on people who need something from God. 

When we went to the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola Florida we saw that the Holy Spirit changed people in all sorts of ways when Spirit-filled believers prayed over people and laid their hands on their heads, shoulders, stomachs and so forth. 

There is something about laying hands on people when a minister prays. Praise God!  We’ve seen people discover their god given talents and giftings after being prayed for. That’s exactly the stirring up that we are talking about on 2 Timothy. 

1Tim. 4:8 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

1Tim. 4:8 肉体の鍛練もいくらかは有益ですが、 今のいのちと未来のいのちが約束されている敬虔は、 すべてに有益です。

When you follow the Lord and are committed to Him, God honors that commitment and will be faithful to you. 

So many people are concerned about taking care of how their bodies look. They they spend hundreds maybe even thousands on making their outer appearance look good. It is important to eat healthy, exercise, and get a good sleep. I call this the BIG THREE for living a long and healthy life. But more important than our exterior bodies and appearance we must feed our spirits by eating spiritual food. 

1Tim. 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

1Tim. 4:2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,

1Tim. 4:3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

1Tim. 4:1 しかし、 御霊が明らかに言われるように、 後の時代になると、 ある人たちは惑わす霊と悪霊の教えとに心を奪われ、 信仰から離れるようになります。

1Tim. 4:2 それは、 うそつきどもの偽善によるものです。 彼らは良心が麻痺しており、

1Tim. 4:3 結婚することを禁じたり、 食物を断つことを命じたりします。 しかし食物は、 信仰があり、 真理を知っている人が感謝して受けるようにと、 神が造られた物です。

We must know the Word so that when someone presents something other than THE WAY of Jesus we know how to respond.
