Just can’t get into this stuff. Robes, hats, a bunch of old guys…
To me, this is religion and I’m not interested. Does God need to really dress people up to display His power or His authority?
Of course, we should dress nice. If we’re a king, we should wear a crown and robe maybe to display our political power and authority over our domain. However, if we are spiritual leaders we should be able to show it whether were in a business suit or jeans and a tee-shirt.
Jesus had nice clothes. If He didn’t have nice clothes, the Roman soldiers would not have gambled to try to get his clothing when they crucified Him (Matthew 27:35-37). I don’t think He had to dress like a Star Wars character.
Jesus is risen! Let’s proclaim His life so that other’s might live.
Pacifists, The Christian And War- Bob Yandian

Religious People Vs Spiritual People
Religious people have to dress themselves up in oppulent robes, special hats, and do various ceremonies. Strong spiritual people just emulate the light, love, and powet of God.

But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”
He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.
For Moses said, “Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’

Religious people promote traditions. Not all tradition is bad, however traditions religious people are not from God, they follow traditions of men.

Gods Kingdom is like a seed

Then He said, “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it?It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth;
but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.”
Seeds start small, but grow into something huge.
