Praise God!  Sounds like we had a wonderful service yesterday. I wish I were there.  I love my Victory family!

I am sitting in Fort Lauderdale Florida having a bit of time in His presence now.  Took nearly 24 hours to get here.  I had a chance to share Jesus with the lady next to me on the plane and at the baggage claim.  Also got a chance to share Jesus with my friend and his girlfriend at dinner.  God so good!  The world needs Jesus desparately and we can do it one person at a time.

I heard  the worship was great in Tokyo.  The message from Joseph was excellent (I can’t wait to watch the video).  And the Victory Kids was rocking as well with even more kids.  Praise God!  We’re marching and moving on.

Thank you so much for being a part of making Victory the most loving church in Japan.  Praise His Name!

7 July Pastor Mark is coming with his two sons from Australia.  He’s moving to Japan and the wife and rest the family is coming.

Please pray for me as I am in the US that I will be able to continue to be an encouragement to people.  Passion for God, passion for people!  Let’s lift each other up in prayer.

We are above the animals in intellect. We shouldn’t act like animals otherwise we fall to the level of just wanting to survive and less about our God-ordained plan to thrive.

Challenge yourself to learn and grow each day. Trees never stop growing, their roots go deeper and deeper.

We all need Jesus. Knowing that is something we’re born with. When you know the Joy of The Lord, its hard to imagine why someone wouldn’t follow God and His Kingdom. There’s only one way. His name is Jesus!

Acts 26:18

“to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me. ’”

Just Amazed. Japan’s Best Church?

I am just amazed.

Today I heard something I’ve heard for the seventh or eighth time over the last three years. I was told ‘Victory Word Church is the best church in Japan’. When I hear that I think, God you are amazing!

I think to myself, what makes a church so great? The leaders, the church family, the teaching, the miracles that demonstrate Gods power. To me these are all musts in a Spirit-filled, Bible believing, church. If your church is boring, then its probably because they have missed the infilling of the Holy Spirit. We refuse to bore people at Victory. Nor will we get so focused on programs that we forget to regularly feed our inbuilt passion for God.

One year I had the opportunity to visit 17 churches in one region of the untied states. I had this idea that people went to church because they knew God, they saw His miracles, and they got recharged spiritually like I did. I was so disappointed. Of the 17, I would only consider returning to two of those churches. Why? They were mostly dead places full of traditions and ritual. No God, no life.

After that experience, I can now say I understand when someone says, ” Your church is the best church in Japan.” Of course there must be other churches. But I totally agree with them.. We’ve got people who love God, love people and are seeing the demonstration of Gods power in their lives. We need more ‘best’ churches in our nations
