I’ve visited so many churches hungry and left empty many times as the way I came in. A church without the Holy Spirt is like a vehicle without fuel.

As I pray today I sense the Holy Spirit going to burst out in our service.

Come Holy Spirit, we need you!

Enjoyed reading the book, Heaven is for real by Pastor Todd Burpo.  It confirmed what followers of Jesus as well has unbelievers have seen repeated OBE (Out Of Body) experiences as documented by many people who have died and come back to talk about.  It’s the story of Todd Burpo’s son who went to have as his body was under the knife on the operating table in the hospital.  Very inspiring story.

The book is very descriptive and is peppered with well chosen scriptures from the Word of God that reinforce the Word of God and how the choice we make on this earth to serve Jesus or not will impact us for the rest of our lives.  Our lives are not just made up of the time that we have on the earth, but the time that continues forever once our spirits leave our bodies when our bodies die.

Suggestions for the author on how to make a better version would be

• Spend more time talking about the heaven experience
• Don’t try so hard to be descriptive of the car you drove or the heaving into the bucket
• Avoid spending time telling us about your garage door opener business and other details that don’t really enhance the amazing experience.
• Back off all the commercial promotions of any character, toy type, or brand.  In 20 years, people will likely not know what you are talking about.

Several of us read the book and most of us skipped the long descriptions. We got lost with the flipping back and forth in the timeline to describe a drive or some other detail.

I loved to hear about the heaven experience and finished the last pages wanting to hear more.

Overall, the book was a fun read but probably would have been better as a mini-book with less auxiliary story that more people can read faster and being inspired by quicker.  Overall, enjoyed the read and recommend to others.

Got a chance to hear a visitor from Germany speech at a church in Tokyo.  Friday night Dr. Werner Witt spoke at Tokyo Baptist Church.  He did a nice job of explaining how logical it is to believe that, God exists

• The design of the creation shows His handiwork
• It takes a lot of blind guessing and false assumptions to be an atheist, than to be a follower of Jesus
• The world shouts the glory of God!

I was pleased to see people turned to Jesus tonight.  God is so good!

If you looked around the church, you’ll notice that they were getting ready for a wedding.

Been around but for a couple decades but today was my first chance to actually got to Tokyo University.

I got to speak on campus to about 60 people. It was a very good experience. Praise God.

I got on the train the other day. It was a tight commuter on its way in to central Tokyo. I placed my bag on the rack above so the I could read. The guy in front of me refused to yield a bit of space.   It must uncomfortable with my book banging his arm.

I thought if he would just yield a little space, he would feel better and there would be peace. He didn’t so there wasn’t.

God wants us to yield. To give place to Him through His Holy Spiirit. God is on this earth in the form of His Holy Spirit.  If we yield, He will do great things in our daily lives. It becomes an adventure.

If we don’t He’ll just move on to a place where people are open and will give Him place. Are you yielding to the Holy Spirit?

When God does something you can sense the peace, the joy, His glory. Run to it. When man does something it will just be empty emotions and programs, so run from it.

Sell coffee at a profit for 70 yen/cents, then Starbucks is really ripping us.
