If you’re managing people, you know it’s not easy. We must remember, it’s not always easy with people but you need people to make things happen. Without people, everything is clean and in order, you just have no growth. 

Where there are no cattle, the feeding trough is empty,
but the strength of an ox produces plentiful harvests.

Heaven on earth

While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

What happened to Ananias and  Sapphira?  Why did they die?  In God’s presence evil and sin cannot exist.  Here in Acts we see that they ‘conceived’ this plan to sell property and give it to the church.  There was nothing wrong with giving to your church. However, these people wanted attention.  They wanted glory for giving but they were cheating.  They should have just said they wanted to give a percentage of the proceedings of the sale.  Not say that they were giviing everything and just giving a percentage.

Ananias and Sapphira were judged for their hypocrisy and lying to God, not for their decision to retain some of their personal property for themselves.

Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

The beauty of going to church is that its not just some boring ritualistic event.  It is a chance for a group of us Jesus followers to see that God is very much active in the lives of those who love Him and those who believe.  No matter what happens, no matter who threatens to shut us down or come against the Name of Jesus, we stand firm and continue to see His healings, blessings, and complete protect on our lives.

Are you struggling with something?  Do you need a breakthrough?  It’s time to command darkness, poverty, lack, sickness or disease to be goine in Jesus Name.  Do it now and watch God’s peace come to your situation.  Release His angels to minister to you and your situation.

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

If you want to see your prayers work, the best thing you can do is find a scripture for what you need.  Why?  God tells us in Isaiah that God’s Word always come back with something.  Praying some flowery prayer for world peace will get you no where.  Praying according to God’s Word will take you places and give you results.

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

People these days are the same as people 100 years ago.  Some say that there are many ways to get to God.  Why would they say this when Jesus made it very clear (John 14:6) that He is the only way?  Simply put, it’s a cover.  It’s a cover for not getting off their spiritual chairs and seeking God.  

Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.

By saying there are many ways to God, they are denying the work that God did for them by sending Jesus to die on their behalf to cover and clean them from all sins.  It sounds harsh but saying that there are many ways to God or all spiritual roads lead to God are just lazyness.  

Every human being needs God.  Woman, man, child, elderly… we all need God.  There is only one way to Him and His Name is Jesus.

And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Miracles, healing and other acts of God happen through acts of you and I.  Don’t get me wrong, God is God and He is not limited to human control.  However, for this time, for this generation, God has chosen to work through you and I on this earth.  If you don’t do it, who will?   Pray with the discouraged or beaten, lay hands on the sick and receive healing, stand with someone for a financial miracle.  God moves throguh he prayers of His people.

When people like you and I saw a lame man laying near the gates of the church, he expected them to give him money.  They gave him something greater.  They gave him his health and well-being back.  They gave him his dignity back.

God wants to work through you.  Listen today to the guiding of the Holy Spirit as you go about your day.  Acts is the book that shows the Acts of believers through the power of the Holy Spirit they received in Chapter 2. With the Holy Spirit, nothing can stop you.

for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now
(Acts 1:5 NKJV)

This biggest thing facing our churches is people are not baptized with the power of the Holy Spirit.  They are not connected to the Holy Spirit which is our Helper for living on this Earth.  When we accept Jesus, we become new creations (2 Cor 5:17) but we must be baptized in the Holy Spirit.  Believers were told to wait for this baptism.

Don’t be like many people who have believed in Jesus, but haven’t taken it any further.  Get Spirit-filled believers to pray over you and receive the power of God through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  You will never be the same.  As a matter of fact, it continues.

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth
(Acts 1:8 NKJV)
