Tokyo Church- Uplifting And Refreshing!

IMG_2375.JPG

My favorite day of the week is almost here! Can’t wait to get into God’s house on Sunday.  Isn’t it so cool to have Sunday to be refreshed and uplifted?

It’s the peak of summer.  On one building near Tokyo Station, they have greenery and a mist that cools you coming off the greenery as you walk by.

Feels nice, but nothing better than getting in His presence.

What You Put In, Is What You Get Out (YPI>YGO)

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 NKJV

Remember this: The farmer who plants a few seeds will have a very small harvest. But the farmer who plants because he has received God’s blessings will receive a harvest of God’s blessings in return. Each of you should give whatever you have decided. You shouldn’t be sorry that you gave or feel forced to give, since God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 GWT

God’s People Are Supposed To Live In Richness, Not Poverty

2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

Jesus came and won our freedom. There is no reason for us to believe the lies of the enemy through religious folk that says, “Poverty is next to godliness”. If that were true, God would have never elevated Joseph, Daniel, or Abraham for that matter.

Jesus had it all, and gave it all, to die and rise again on your behalf. Don’t throw away the work that He did for you. As one famous preacher once said, “I’ve been rich, and I’ve been poor, and rich is much better”. Don’t limit what God can do through you.

Don’t wallow in the worlds ways

Since we have these promises, dear friends, we need to cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit and live a holy life in the fear of God.
2 Corinthians 7:1 GWT

Doesn’t that just say it all? Just because someone around you does it, doesn’t mean you as a believer want to do it. Gods ways are not the worlds ways. If we want to walk in the wisdom, miracles and power that show His presence in our lives, we must immunized by the knowledge of Gods Word and prayer. There is nothing that compares.

2 Corinthians 7:1
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
-NKJV

Great quotes from 2 Cor 5

2 Corinthians 5:6-8
So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:15
and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

2 Corinthians 5:18
Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Unbelievers are blinded

2 Corinthians 4:3-4
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
-NKJV

2 Corinthians 4:3-4
So if the Good News that we tell others is covered with a veil, it is hidden from those who are dying. The god of this world has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. As a result, they don’t see the light of the Good News about Christ’s glory. It is Christ who is God’s image.
