Last week our guest Pastor prayed for various people after service.  One 10 year old girl who has been attending Victory with her family for about 5 years came up for prayer after being encouraged by her mom to see healing.  We asked her if she knew Jesus and she wasn’t sure so she accepted the Lord on the spot near the stage.

Then when asked why she came forward she said she is itchy all over her body.  Some type of skin disorder.  We prayed for her.  When she came back this AM, she quietly told pastor wife,  “I’m well now”.

Pastor heard about it and called her forward and interviewed the 10 year old girl right after the worship band finished.  He asked when she started having skin trouble.  She said she had skin issue from when she was small.  He asked what was different.  She said the skin problems were gone.

Praise God!  Skin disordered healed by faith in our God whose mercies endure forever and ever.  Tell someone about what the Lord has done for you today!

Do you know Him?

I read this AM how some religious folk came to Jesus and scolded Him for not having His friends do the religious washing of their hands. His response was interesting.

“For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men ? the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.””
Mark 7:8

Religion is ‘traditions of men’. We don’t need religious people following tradition. We need Jesus followers.

Mark 4:22

“For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.”

Mar.4.22.NKJV

Avoid bigots who call themselves Christians or followers of Jesus.

Jesus, speaking to the religious people said,

Matthew 15:8-9
‘ These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. ’”

If your relationship with God becomes flowing robes and dead tradition, then you’ve become religious. Make it your passion to have a daily relationship with the Creator.

It’s better to be around unbelievers than religious people.
