The One Called Along Side- The Holy Spirit

John 15:26 (NKJV Strong’s,)“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

Here, the Helper is translated several ways. The best translation I believe as “the One called along side”.

The Holy Spirit came after Jesus ascended. We need Him. If we receive Jesus, the Holy Spirit is there beside us at all times. Whether we feel Him or not.

Whatever you do today, tomorrow, and beyond, remember the Holy Spirit is there for you.

I’ve been to many churches around the world, but just because you call it a church doesn’t mean God (by the Holy Spirit) is there.   But when I walk into a church that is full of believers that are baptized in the Holy Spirit, I feel right at home. Praise God. Walk this day with the Holy Spirit. There’s nothing like it.

Judgment Or Life, The Choice Is Yours

John 5:28-29 (NKJV Strong’s,
)Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

It’s interesting that Jesus makes it very clear here. Everyone was born to live forever. You die once then if you didn’t accept the work of Jesus you will be resurrected for judgment (or condemnation, per the New King James Version) or you will be resurrected to life. Don’t take judgment.  Take life in Christ Jesus.

Jesus is From Above

John 3:31 (NKJV)

He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

These are John’s comments about Jesus. Very revealing. Jesus is above all.

Building A Strong Marriage- 10 “Nevers” to Follow With Your Spouse

Marriage is a commitment.  It’s a beautiful relationship between a man and a woman.  All of society is based on this.  If the family is strong, the country is strong.  Let me share some notes from that might be a blessing for you.

10 Marital “Nevers”

In The Mingling of Souls, Matt Chandler credits author Tommy Nelson with helping him create 10 “nevers” for regarding marital conflict:

1. Never respond to your mate brashly.

2. Never touch your mate out of temper or frustration, ever.

3. Never seek to shame your spouse in public (or in private for that matter).

4. Never fight in front of your kids (or use them as leverage in a disagreement).

5. Never mention your spouse’s parents or any other family member.

6. Never dig up the past; try to stay on topic.

7. Never try to win.

8. Never yell, use derogatory comments or verbally defame your spouse.

9. Never withhold physical intimacy or use sex to manipulate.

10. Never put off seeking resolution.

When You Think About Someone Pray For Them

John 4:53 (NKJV)So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household.

We are Gods hands, feet, and mouth on the earth. If you don’t do something for the Kingdom, who will?

Once you’ve been baptized in the Holy Spirit, God speaks to you. The Holy Spiirit is God. He first speaks to you through the Word of God, then He speaks to you all the time.

When the Holy Spirit brings someone to mind, there’s always a reason. Pray for them in the spirit (pray in tongues), pray for protection for them, ask the Father how to pray and He’ll give you the words via the Holy Spirit.

Then next time you see them let them know that God directed you to pray for them. Then, ask them what was happening before, during or after the time you prayed for them. What out!  You are going to be amazed.

Just like the man here in John 4, things are set in motion the moment you believe. Hallelujah!

When God brings someone to you, pray for them. When you pray stuff happens.

Wisdom and Knowledge Of God’s Word Fill Your House

Proverbs 24:3-4 (NKJV)
Through wisdom a house is built,

And by understanding it is established;

By knowledge the rooms are filled

With all precious and pleasant riches.

Spending time in Gods Word will build knowledge and wisdom. That knowledge and wisdom will fill your rooms, your house, your bank account. God will bless whatever you do when you seek Him with everything you’ve got.
