Why Does Pastor John Fullerton MacArthur Seem To Hate Christians?

The beauty of the church of God built by Jesus the Anointed is the diversity.  Not ‘diversity’ in terms of the sexual perversion the world tries to flog today.  Diversity in that there are many people with many different types of personalities as well as giftings and callings.

God is so gracious.  When we get off He corrects us.  If we are like David, and correct ourselves we are back on God’s path for our lives.  If we ignore, we are stepping outside of God’s will.

I don’t know much about John MacArthur other than he is a pastor, publishes a lot of books, and is more of a religious guy who doesn’t like Spirit-filled Christians or shall we say, Spirit-filled Jesus people.  He doesn’t believe in signs or wonders, so you’d never see me in a church like that.

Indeed God is gracious.  When someone says they are a prophet we should always be careful, it seems that God did indeed send someone to warn John about attacking Jesus people and the move of the Holy Spirit.  We know from Acts with Ananias and Sapphira, you can’t work against the Holy Spirit and expect to continue.

This video of a ‘prophet’ warning John MacArthur really gets you thinking.  He speaks with a Scottish accent and may have come from far and really felt that God wanted him to deliver that message.

Generally, it’s best to avoid John MacArthur’s materials as it comes from a Calvinist perspective.  They see God as always angry and judgmental. Maybe because that is the way they are? However, God is not like that now.  Judgment will come.

Let’s be praying for John that he will have know Jesus personally and be filled with the power and presence of the Holy Spirit so he will be able to lead the people in his circle to God and not away from the Kingdom.

God Is Moving In Tokyo- Coming To Jesus

It has been very cool, last Sunday three people came to Jesus.  The Sunday before (13 Sept 2015), 2 people came to Jesus and three people we’re baptized in the Holy Spirit.  I didn’t even arrive at Victory until nearly 3 hours after the service started.  Praise God!  The power of the Holy Spirit is changing Japan.

What has God got planned for this week?  I can’t wait to get to Victory Sunday!

We Come In The Word And With Holy Spirit Power

1 Thessalonians 1:5 (NKJV)For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.

If your church is just about tradition and meetings, then you’re missing the point. Our Christian life is about the Word of God, and of power. That power only comes by the Holy Spirit. That’s not something that ended in the early church. The power of the Hoky Spirit is how we live today. Every day. Praise God.

An Excited Taxi Driver In Berlin

I was picked up at the Berlin Tegel airport by a Turkish taxi driver. He seemed so excited about having an American in his car he started to change his radio saying he needed to play American music for me. He went on to talk about how he wished his father took him to the United States instead of Germany. He was a huge fan of Michael Jackson and Cool and Thr Gang. This was the golden era of music for him.

It is wonderful to be sensitive to what is going on around you.  It’s great to be a part of a generation that changes the world.  We need to make Him famous and proclaim of Jesus to our generation.

Put On Your New Self

TimeForChangeYou are a new creation when you receive and confess Jesus into your heart. It’s time to put the old desires and lusts that distract you from going deeper with God. We must renew our minds.

Ephesians 4:20-24 (NKJV Strong’s Bible)But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Check out the same passage in the GWT.

Ephesians 4:20-24 (GWTransl)

But that is not what you learned from Christ’s teachings. You have certainly heard his message and have been taught his ways. The truth is in Jesus. You were taught to change the way you were living. The person you used to be will ruin you through desires that deceive you. However, you were taught to have a new attitude. You were also taught to become a new person created to be like God, with a life that truly has God’s approval and is holy.

The Gods Word Translation says get a new attitude. You can only do that through knowing God and renewing your mind by His Word.

Let’s get a new attitude today.   The only one who can change you IS you.

No War On Women In The Bible

Gods plan for women is just as wonderful as for men.  We are all created equal before God.  Some politicians recently are trying to say that women are not treated fairly.  In some cases that is true.  They also say that the Bible pushes suppression of women.  That is completely untrue.

Women have a powerful calling if they choose to fulfill it.  The is no war on women in the Bible. An amazing woman is invaluable.   Check out this description of a wife in Proverbs.

Proverbs 31:10-31 (GWT)

“Who can find a wife with a strong character?

She is worth far more than jewels.

Her husband trusts her with ?all? his heart,

and he does not lack anything good.

She helps him and never harms him all the days of her life.

“She seeks out wool and linen ?with care?

and works with willing hands.

She is like merchant ships.

She brings her food from far away.

She wakes up while it is still dark

and gives food to her family

and portions of food to her female slaves.

“She picks out a field and buys it.

She plants a vineyard from the profits she has earned.

She puts on strength like a belt

and goes to work with energy.

She sees that she is making a good profit.

Her lamp burns late at night.

“She puts her hands on the distaff,

and her fingers hold a spindle.

She opens her hands to oppressed people

and stretches them out to needy people.

She does not fear for her family when it snows

because her whole family

has a double layer of clothing.

She makes quilts for herself.

Her clothes are ?made of? linen and purple cloth.

“Her husband is known at the city gates

when he sits with the leaders of the land.

“She makes linen garments and sells them

and delivers belts to the merchants.

She dresses with strength and nobility,

and she smiles at the future.

“She speaks with wisdom,

and on her tongue there is tender instruction.

She keeps a close eye on the conduct of her family,

and she does not eat the bread of idleness.

Her children and her husband

stand up and bless her.

In addition, he sings her praises, by saying,

‘Many women have done noble work,

but you have surpassed them all!’

“Charm is deceptive, and beauty evaporates,

?but? a woman who has the fear of the Lord should be praised.

Reward her for what she has done,

and let her achievements praise her at the city gates.”
