Walk AND WORK By Faith

Walking by faith is not telling people about your needs. Talk with God about it, believe for your miracle, and WORK towards your goals.
When you get your need met, that only God knew about, that’s the time to shout it from the mountain top. That’s truly walking by faith.
Give HIM the glory!

Psalms 23
1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.

He shall preserve your soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

How To Be Outstanding In God’s Eyes

Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth. –Numbers 12:3 (NKJV)

God does some amazing things through people.  Then there are others home come and go, like a ‘flash in the pan’ of life. IF we think of Moses, he led a million people out of bondage in the world’s most powerful nation of the time (Egypt) to a land flowing with milk and honey… a promised land.  He turned a river to blood, turned his staff into a snake, brought water from a rock in the desert, split the red sea so those million people could cross on dry ground.  Amazing!

Interestingly, Moses was not looking for attention.  He wasn’t busy trying to get everyone to look.  God uses those who look to Him.  Be a Moses to your generation!

We Must Walk By The Spirit To Be Free

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Romans 8:1 (NKJV)

Many of us know about there being no condemnation as a follower of Jesus, but we forget that we have to walk by the Spirit.  Here in the Greek Spirit is pneuma, the capitalization of Spirit by the translators of the NKJV translation of the Bible indicates that we think pneuma here is the Holy Spirit.

We agree with that thinking, but at the same time, we are believers should be ‘spiritual’.  We should walk by the Spirit which is our human spirit in tune with the Holy Spirit.  Here you can see pneuma as both the Holy Spirit and your human spirit in union with the Spirit of God.  We must walk by faith, we must walk by the Spirit.  We must walk by our spirit in tune with His Spirit to be free from condemnation.

What Really Is Holiness?

Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures…

Romans 1:1-2

The Holy Scriptures.  “Holy” in the original Greek (from the Strong’s Concordance)-

g0040. ἅγιος hagios; from ἅγος hagos (an awful thing) (compare 53, 2282); sacred (physically, pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially, consecrated): — (most) holy (one, thing), saint.

Holy is not only something that is set aside as something different from the regular. Holiness is pure.  Full of awe.  Water with a bit of dirt in it is polluted.  Water free from contaminants is pure.  God’s people are free from sin by the work of Jesus as His blood washes us clean and walking by faith makes us not want to fall back into that sin.  We must be pure.

We need to be more focused on holiness to our Father in Heaven.  Only when you are holy by the blood of Jesus, shall you stand before the Father.  We are in awe of Him.  His Word is HOLY!
